Breastfeeding: Starting Out Right

Breastfeeding your baby is a wonderful gift that only you can give. It’s the best nutrition for your baby and also has important health benefits for you. This class is divided into two sessions. The first session discusses how to get off to a good start, right in the hospital. The second session is practical advice for successful breastfeeding the first weeks, and includes information on selection of an effective breast pump and preparing to return to work or school. Attempt to attend both in the same month.

Dates:  June 7 and 21, July 9 and 19, August 2 and 16,
September 13 and 27, October 11 and 25, November 1 and 15, December 6 and 11

CHRISTUS Schumpert Main Campus, in  Classroom 1.  Class time is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
